“Start-Up,” A Journey of YouthA start-up refers to a newly founded venture business in the early stages of growth, before receiving any large-scale financing. These businesses tend to make use of innovative technology and ideas. “Start-Up,” a drama depicting a group of young entrepreneurs as they throw themselves into the world of start-ups, was released in October this year by Korea’s tvN channel in collaboration with the global entertainment service Netflix. The drama “Start-Up” brings together a group of characters from different backgrounds as they struggle to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams at the company “Sand Box.” The company’s name is derived from the word “sandbox,” a pit filled with sand to prevent children getting injured as they play.“Start-Up” was said to be created on the following premise: “Our youth is filled with seemingly endless difficulties, but it is also the brightest times of our lives.
